Dr. Efosa “Efex” Iyamu is one of Nigeria’s best, finest and dynamic entertainer and compere, who has won numerous awards in the entertainment sector and other fields.
He is the convener of SERIOUSLY FUNNY WITH EFEX, a monthly comedy show that empowers young talented comedians and sets them to a bigger stage.
Due to his relentness commitment to helping people grow, Efex organized the SERIOUSLY FUNNY WITH EFEX comedy show not to showcase himself, but to create a platform rising comedians to grow and gain popularity in fiercely competitive entertainment landscape.
Efex was Senior Special Assistant and Executive Director to Edo State Government on Government House and Protocol and has since been enjoying a good relationship both in the State and at the Federal Level.
He was a member of the Protocol Committee for Presidential Campaign Committee and Inuaguaration. He was a member of the Media and Publicity Committee for the Presidential Inauguration. He also a co-MC for the presidential campaigns.
Efex was also a one time CHIEF PROTOCOL OFFICER to the National Chairman of one of the leading Political Party in Nigeria.
He also runs an NGO “THE EFOSA IYAMU INITIATIVE,” whose primary responsibilities are to take care of homeless street kids and re-empower them and also takes care of women and vulnerable kids.
He has been doing it consistently for over 10 years and always strives for more innovative and sustainable ways of improving the quality of life of vulnerable and under-priviledged in our society.
